about me
I am 21 years old, a Senior at Columbia College Chicago (Film Major, Cultural Studies Minor). I am completing my final semester of my Bachelor's degree this fall. I am looking forward to working in my chosen field after graduation. I am more focused and interested in the theoretical side of the film industry and I wish to write about films and other online media.
thesis statement, sort of.
my goal as a creative person is to make things that are not fodder for sequels and internet think-piece authors. it is important to me to be able to share my work with the people i care about most.
overall, i don't engage with media that hurts creativity in me. the current ammount of hopelessness presented by mainstream films is discouraging.
i want to create things and engage with projects that have something to say and have something that will mean something to niches.
some of my biggest inspirations creatively are David Lynch, Haruki Murakami and John Cassavetes.
i am always interested in learning more about films and art in general and i wish that my peers did too.
most of my videos are shot on my camcorder.
